About Me & What I Do

Work stuff

I'm a freelance web designer and digital producer based in North West London. I have eight years' experience working on small and large scale sites, including retail and content driven websites. I'm experienced in working in high-pressured environments, for example backstage during live music festivals, but I'm also just as comfortable coding and designing from the comfort of my own home. So whether it's a website you need, a logo design, banner ad or some aspect of digital production, I'll be able to take it on.

A few things I can do...

  • Front-end design and code
  • Wordpress
  • Illustration
  • Graphic design
  • Logo design
  • Banners, MPUs and other online ad formats
  • Microsites and splashpages
  • Copywriting and creative writing
  • Photography
  • SEO to ensure good ranking on Google etc
  • Advice and help with social media

Please take a look at my work profile for an overview of my employment history. I am available for freelance work and if this were to involve live music and/or travel, then I would be one very happy freelancer.

Hello,

Here's a little bit about me. It feels awkward to write this, so I'll just get on with it.

I love Scandinavia. It has magic light.

I love to travel and if I don't manage to complete a road trip across America (and also Polynesia) with an accompanying photoblog within the next five years I may have to submit to only ever watching television for the rest of my life, although with re-runs and new series of True Blood, The Office (US), Six Feet Under, Twin Peaks and Battlestar Galactica, this could prove an enjoyable seclusion.

I take photographs. I used to do this professionally for Absolute/Virgin Radio which allowed me some pretty amazing experiences; meeting Alice in Chains and Slash are particular highlights. This also fed my other passion, music.

I have an eye for vintage fashion, Jean Paul Gaultier, Alexander McQueen, Luella Bartley and Betsey Johnson all inspire me and my aesthetic and I have recently started renovating lampshades. Curious, but beautiful.
